Congratulations on your betrothal! I hope you're enjoying this special time in your relationship.
One of the most important decisions you need to make is about your wedding officiant. You want someone who will create a wedding ceremony that mirrors your values, beliefs, and taste.
Why is the right wedding officiant so important?
During your wedding ceremony you will cross one of the most significant thresholds of your life. Your wedding ceremony is the gateway into your marriage. Through it, you will embark on a time-honored journey together. And your guests (hopefully the people who love you best) will forever be part of this journey, because they support you as you set out.
Your wedding officiant plays a key role because she creates, and guides you through, your wedding ceremony.
Very uniquely, I am a professional ceremonial writer and officiant. This is my work, my life, my gift. I have a long history as a writer, and am a fully authorized officant educated in universal and interfaith wedding traditions. Not only do I bring wisdom and warmth to your wedding ceremony, but you and your guests will be able to hear me!
Who do I work with?
I work with couples who believe their wedding ceremony is the heart and soul of their thrilling day. They understand that this is their first act as a married couple, and want something that they will remember with affection and depth for years to come. They budget for their wedding ceremony. And recognize that as a percentage of total cost wedding costs, the wedding ceremony offers the truest and most lasting value.
Yes, flowers, attire, and menus are important. But memories of a heartfelt wedding ceremony will stand the test of time, bringing tears and laughter for many many years to come.
True and lasting value
Because of the hours I spend, and the premium level of service I give every client, my fees are higher than those of other officiants. But any couple I've collaborated with will tell you that knowing they were in such safe hands was worth much more.
So are the feelings of confidence and excitement that come from being cared for by a wedding officiant who takes the time to 'get' who you are and creates a ceremony to match. I treat your ceremony as a labor of love; it will be written completely from scratch, utterly unique, and be in the very best of taste.
You may be surprised to learn I spend 15-20 hours on each custom wedding ceremony. Caring for my clients is something I do very very well.
And here's something different: You approve the ceremony. You'll know exactly what's going to happen when. On your big day, you'll be prepared and can feel more at ease. As your trusted wedding officiant, my goal is for you to actually remember your wedding ceremony!
You can expect my help with your vows too. And I liaise with musicians and your photographer. I'm definitely not one of those wedding officiants who arrive just in time for one ceremony and then race off to the next.
You'll have fun, laugh, and shed a tear or two. And I will embrace your ceremony with the joy and enthusiasm I bring to everything in my life. That is my promise to you.
I welcome your call or email.
